Well ladies and gentlemen, winter is officially upon us. At least for those of us who are too lazy to get our butts to warm-weather states. With cold temperatures settling in for the long haul, our attention has turned to cozy winter wear in the form of thick, chunky sweaters, gorgeous coats and beautiful accessories for the cold.
This past weekend Ashley and I took a weekend trip up to Minnesota’s north shore on Lake Superior for a little R&R, girl time and spa services (treat yo self, we always say). We stayed at Bluefin Bay just south of Lutsen and spent the better part of Saturday at the Waves of Superior Spa enjoying their amazing facilities. Check out the beautiful women’s changing room:
In any case, knowing we were headed up north I figured it was the perfect
excuse opportunity to get some new items for winter. I had recently spotted these in a Restoration Hardware catalog and knew they had to be mine.
Of course, I didn’t want Ashley to feel left out so I got us matching mink infinity scarves and booties.
I wasn’t sure what to expect but was extremely pleased with the coloring and feel of the faux fur. It was just as luxurious and soft as I had hoped without any of the itchiness that can sometimes occur. We lived in our booties all weekend (I’m wearing them as I type), and I’m sure they’ll rarely leave our feet throughout the winter. The scarves are equally beautiful and add a touch of glamour to any outfit.
It’s nearly time to start compiling holiday wish lists, and I’d suggesting putting either (or both) of these items on yours.
