If people had custom theme songs, mine would be ‘I Enjoy Being A Girl,’ from Flower Drum Song. Check out this little star’s cover of it here.
But that’s not the point. The point is that this song always comes into my head once I step inside a local boutique called Primp. It’s an oasis for anyone who loves to drape themselves in dresses, lace, pearls or even the occasional eclectic look (i.e. Moi). And it’s affordable. All of their items are under $100. Not to mention that they restock their items almost daily, so you’re sure to score a find once you step inside.
Even better? They’re dog friendly. Without fail you will always find dog treats or local shelter donation options at the payment counter, which makes us love Primp that much more. They are using their growing voice here in the Twin Cities to speak-up for those that have none. Yeah. Did I mention we’re big fans?
So we’re helping to get the word out, too. This Thursday, June 20th, Primp will be partnering with a local nonprofit animal rescue called Pet Project Rescue (PPR). PPR is no-kill, foster based program that helps rescue homeless cats & dogs, provide spay & neuter services to help control the homeless animal population & fund the Lukas Project (PPR’s hospice care program for terminally ill animals). And what better than shopping for such a wonderful cause? 10% of all sales from purchases during the event will be donated to the foundation. Complimentary desserts & champagne will even be provided.
Please be sure to stop in this Thursday at Primp’s West End St. Louis Park location for the PPR shopping event, from 6PM – 9PM. You’ll get to meet a few of the PPR dogs available for adoption, like Fiona (we’ll be there too, so be sure to say hello)!
Even if you can’t make the event or live out of the state / country, check out more about PPR here.
