Last weekend we attended Styles for Smiles, an MN Fashion Week event benefiting Project Healthy Smile. Project Healthy Smile is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring oral health education and dental supplies to underprivileged children globally (learn more about what they do and how you can help at http://projecthealthysmile.org/).
The free event consisted of a fashion show, mini makeover stations, and a pop up boutique area where you could shop the looks from the show with 20% of proceeds going to Project Healthy Smile. It was a great community event with plenty of local support.
All photos were taken by Ashley on her iPhone and not retouched because let’s face it: we don’t really know how to do that kind of thing (so enjoy).
We’re pretty much obsessed with this tie blouse from Primp. It was sold out at the event, but we’re going to be keeping our eyes out for it in their boutiques.
As if the fashion wasn’t enough of a draw for this free event benefitting charity, there were also cupcakes, hors d’oeuvres and wine. We were in heaven.
You could even take a picture with Toothy (we just made that up), the Project Healthy Smile mascot as a reminder of the real reason why everyone was there.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s event.
