Finding a nude nail polish in just the right shade is no easy task. Thankfully, by a stroke of luck (and some generosity), I found just that recently when my friend Joela gave me my first butter LONDON nail polishes. In a pack of 3 were Pink Ribbon, All Hail The Queen, and Royal Navy (pictured below from left to right, each sold for $14 individually).
I haven’t tried Royal Navy yet, but can attest that butter LONDON polishes are amazing. Not only are the colors gorgeous, the formula is the perfect consistency and opaqueness and goes on so smooth, you’ll think you’re a pro.
In the past I’ve had trouble with nude polishes being too transparent, even after 3 coats. Not so with Pink Ribbon – after just 2 coats I was good to go. And the shade? Fabulous. Described as “a classic French pink,” you can barely tell you’re wearing polish – except your natural nails have never looked that good.
Need more convincing on why butter LONDON is worth the $14 a bottle? All of its lacquers are 3 Free – meaning they’re non-toxic and free of harmful ingredients like Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP and Parabens common in most polishes.
