Orange You Glad? Tangerine Is Hot For 2012.

You read that correctly. Tangerine is where it’s at for Spring of 2012. Orange can be quite a tricky color to pull off well, but we have confidence in you. Just remember these key things:

  1. There’s a wide spectrum of shades involved. Just know that it might take some trial and error before you find the right one for your skin tone, but don’t give up hope if you want to rock this trend.
  2. When working with a bold color, use it as the base you plan the rest of your outfit around. The more vibrant the shade, the simpler you should keep the rest of the ensemble to prevent from looking too busy and loud.
  3. While it’s fun to try new things and broaden your fashion horizons, don’t feel like you have to jump on the bandwagon of every new trend. Never been a big fan of orange? Skip this one.

And to get you going, here are some ideas for incorporating this season’s “it” color into your wardrobe.
