Whoever said you can’t wear white after Labor Day, was seriously disturbed. And if it is a rule – we say that it was meant to be broken. So we’ve said it before and we’ll say it again. Break out that LWD (little white dress) and work your white.
But before you go sporting a white linen dress in a Minnesota winter (please don’t), keep in mind how you’re wearing your whites. Winter white shades look beautiful when done in a weighty fabric such as a knit dress. And we love the idea of mixing different textures. Try to keep the outfit monochromatic but ground it in darker tone accessories (think about a dark boot or rich bag). And voila, you’re looking seasonless.
Surely not everyone is going to agree when you buck this trend. But we say, haters are gonna hate anyways. So you might as well look your best.
